Musings from the Oriole diaspora since 2006
I generally approve of nearly all throwbacks, but what's truly sets these apart are the orange laces Jones and Wieters have on their shoes.
You are correct. The orange laces are the icing on the cake.
Agreed. I'm ready even to make the case that the team should at least consider wearing throwbacks on a part-time basis (Sundays, etc.)Seriously, if they replaced the throwbacks with those Friday night jerseys, I'd very happy.
Have not yet figured out Why the Nats were wearing Senator jerseys. They have never been the Senators. Why not wear a 1970 Expos jersey or are they trying to rewrite history?
The Nats have no interest in commemorating Expos baseball. Much like the Oriole have never embraced their franchise history in St. Louis.
